The third is that the whole world is in the presence of God. Isn't it shameful that a person commits a sin in his presence?! Fourth and fifth, whether a sinner wants it or not, one day his soul will be taken by the angel of death. He will be responsible for what he has done. He would be   punished then. Can he resist the angel of death or overcome the owner of hell? Now that he sees himself as a prisoner, how can he allow himself to openly oppose God's command and be contaminated by all kinds of sins?! Thinking about these matters is certainly enough to prevent a person from sinning. Sin and disobedience to the Lord are always ugly, but the most ugly condition is disobedience and rebellion, when a person uses His blessings as a means of disobeying Him.

In some of the histories, it is mentioned that "Sabkatkin", who was one of the employees of Azza al-Doula Bakhtiyar, rebelled against him. "Sabi", the famous writer, wrote a letter to him on behalf of Azza al-Dawlah saying, "I wish I knew with what means you rebelled against us, while our flag is flying above your head. Our slaves are on your right and left side. Your riding horses have our marks on them. The clothes you are wearing are woven by us and the weapons we prepared for our enemies are in your hand?![1]

This historical example clearly shows how ugly it is for a person to receive a blessing from someone who gave him the same blessing and act against him.

Imam Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) has also said: “The least right that God has over you is that by relying on His blessings, do not sin against him.”

Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) wisely points out that "man's least duty in front of the blessings of God, is not to use His blessings as a means of his sin.”[2]

Another message which this wise saying of Imam Hussain (A.S) has, is that every sin a person commits is definitely by using one of God's blessings. These blessings are: Eyes, ears, hands, feet, thoughts, strength and etc. A person cannot do wrong without using them, so the meaning of the word is that a nice person should not commit any sin. Because every sin is committed by using one of God's blessings and this is very shameful.[3]
