Want to Get Up Early in the Morning? Recite This Verse.

11:08 - 2021/11/21

Many a time, we want to get up early but we oversleep and do not get up the time we want. The last verse in chapter 18 i.e. chapter al-Kahf, is narrated to be useful in helping one get up the time they want.

How to get up early in the morning?

What verse, if recited before sleep, will help one get up anytime they wish?

The answer to this question is: the last verse in chapter al-Kahf (the Cave) which says,

Say, "I am just a human being like you. It has been revealed to me that your God is One. So whoever expects to encounter his Lord let him act righteously, and not associate anyone with the worship of his Lord."1

Imam Sadiq (as) has been quoted to have said,

There is no one who recites the last verse of chapter al-Kahf before sleep but he wakes up at the time he wishes.

The famous Shia scholar, al-Kulaini, has narrated this hadith in his book al-Kafi2 and many people have found it useful in helping them get up early in the morning. It may help you as well.
