-This article is about the questions we learn from Eid Ghadir and its values to the muslim Community.
What do we learn from Eid Ghadir part two?
Since in part one of our article I explained the things we learn from Eid Ghadir, again this article is the continuation of the first one as follows
Eid Ghadir shows prophethood and Imamate are more important and have rights than anything Muslims think, all activities we do in Islam like fasting, pilgrimage, and many others are controlled or have meaning with the successor of the holy because he is the one to explain how to do them.
All historians of Islam both Shias and Sunni agree that the event of Eid Ghadir took place though they interpret it in different ways so this shows that the event took place in history, no one can deny the event of Eid Ghadir even the western historians agree on it.
Also, we learn that the truth always mains even if few people remain on it or thousands deny it this will not change to be wrong because the others have rejected it and they are many. But with time it will manifest in their lives as the Qur’an says:
“What! Reflect they not within themselves; (to see clearly that) created not Allah the heavens and what is between them two (except with their truth, and for an appointed term?” [1] 3:8
Ghadir is the solution to whoever needs guidance in this world whether Muslims and those who wish to become Muslims, they should find and in the event of Eid Ghadir why after the prophet announced Imam Ali (A.S) as his successor this verse was revealed
“This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your faith” [2]. So Muslims should take care while reading about the event of Eid Ghadir and think more about it.
From Ghadir, we learn that even though Allah says that He will protect the holy Qur’an from all impurities [3], this will only take place with the successor of the holy prophet to complete the meaning of the two heaviest things from the hadith of Thaqalayn. These two are the forces to guide mankind while the prophet is absent.
The prophet (PBUH) told Muslims to tell those who were not allowed what took place at Ghadir Khum in his own words:
“Let those who are present here convey to those who are absent…” from this importance we learn that the event was so important in our beliefs as Muslims if not the prophet could not mention such words.
In this event also the prophets (PBUH) asked Muslims a number of questions where they answered him like am I not a prophet of god etc all agree that he is a true prophet from Allah.
The prophet (PBUH) concluded his word by telling Muslims to be one Ummah that’s Qur’an calls khary- al-Ummah, the one among all nations since they are the holders of the truth and guide mankind to the right path.
