According to a saying, the mother of Imam Zaman (AS) is a very noble lady from the descendants of Shimon, one of the apostles of Jesus. She has been mentioned by names such as Narjes Khatun, Susan, Maryam, Reyhaneh, etc.

According to a saying, the mother of Sahib aL- Zaman (AS) is a very noble lady from the descendants of Shimon, one of the apostles of Jesus. She has been mentioned by names such as Narjes Khatun, Susan, Maryam, Reyhaneh, etc.

This chaste lady was miraculously transported from Rome to Medina based on a calculated plan, and then, under the supervision of Hakimeh Khatoon, the daughter of Imam Javad (peace be upon him) and the aunt of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (peace be upon him),became completely familiar with Islamic teachings.

And because of her high spiritual perfections, she was given the honor of being the wife of the 11th Imam, and in the first year of her marriage, Hazrat Mahdi (A.S.) was born to him.
This pious lady in 261 AH.  And According to another narration, she passed away one year before the martyrdom of Hazrat Askari, peace be upon him.
her noble grave is located next to the sacred shrine of the 11th Imam in Samerra.

This noble lady had reached a point in piety and adornment with moral virtues that Hakimeh Khatoon, the aunt of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari, peace be upon him, who is one of the women with the highest rank of the Imamate family, put her before her and said: You are the lady of my family. And I serve you with my heart and soul.[1]

And it has even been reported that Amirul Momineen Ali, peace be upon him, mentioned her as the best women years before her birth.[2]
