Until the age of 12 or 13, Imam Sadiq (AS) was a contemporary of his grandfather, Imam Sajjad (AS). After the death of the fourth Imam, he lived for 19 or 20 years in the service of his honorable father Imam Muhammad Baqir (AS)
And in this way, he spent a period of his life in the service of his noble grandfather and father, each of whom was the proof of God.
Therefore, regardless of the divine aspect and the merciful gifts that every imam has, benefiting from the presence of his honorable father and grandfather caused him to reach the level of perfection of knowledge and literature with his innate talent and scientific sense and intelligence
Children
Some historians have mentioned ten children (seven sons and three daughters) for Hazrat Sadiq (AS). And some have mentioned the number of his children as seven sons and one daughter.

When the darkness of the night came, Imam Sadiq (AS) would put a stock of bread, meat and money on his shoulders and rush to the needy people of Medina and distribute them among them.
While people did not know him. But after his death, those night donations did not continue and the needy understood who was helping them.
The attention of the heart in prayer: Abu Ayyub says: Imam Baqir (AS) and Imam Sadiq (AS) when they stood for prayer; their faces would change. Sometimes it would become red and sometimes yellow. It was as if they are talking to the person they see.
