The future of the Islamic revolution in the thought of martyr Motahari

Islamic revolution:With the occurrence of any revolution, the first question that comes to mind is whether the revolution will remain stable or not?

As you know, after the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution on 1979   February 11, under the leadership of the great man of history, Imam Khomeini (RA), and the significant presence and support of the pious people of Iran, the question came to mind, what will the future of the Islamic Revolution be like?

Inrtouduction

martyr Motahari, one of the theorists of the Islamic Revolution, said five factors cause the continuation of the Islamic Revolution. If these five factors were not there, the revolution would not continue.

Factors of the future continuity of the Islamic revolution in the thought of martyr Motahari

1.  Islam and Islamic values

Martyr Motahari considers the nature of the revolution of the Iranian people in 1979 to be Islamic. This means that all material, spiritual, political, and ideological aspects, are according to Islam and its continuation and fruition will be possible on an Islamic basis.

2.  Social justice

Motahari considers the issue of seeking justice and realizing social justice as one of the basic conditions for realizing the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.

So Motahari said:

“In an Islamic state, no one should be oppressed in any way. Even if a person is a criminal... he still has rights that must be respected.”

3.  keeping independence

Independence as one of the axes of the main slogan of the revolution, that is; Independence, freedom, and the Islamic Republic are the focus of Martyr Motahari, and in addition to justice and freedom, he considered the maintenance of all-round independence, especially the maintenance of intellectual and cultural independence, as a condition for guaranteeing the future of the Islamic Revolution. Therefore, any nation that has an independent school of thought and does not fall under the burden of foreign schools has the right to live, and any nation that does not have a school and wants to take its school from a foreigner will be forced to surrender to foreign slavery.

4.  Freedom

" Motahari" considers the preservation of freedom as one of the pillars of continuity of the Islamic revolution, but he explains freedom in a reasonable sense and within the framework of ethics and Islam.

5.  Islamic spirituality

According to Martyr Motahari, another pillar of the revolution, whose maintenance plays an essential role in realizing the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, is "spirituality". Of course, "spirituality" is correct based on Quranic and Islamic sources, not any kind of spirituality such as the false spirituality that some groups and currents follow in the world.

Motahari says that: "If we forget spirituality, we have deprived our own revolution of a leading factor."
