according to importance of the tragic event of Ashura, most of western scholars and scientists and merely every freethinker have a saying about Imam Hussain. As an example, Frederick James talks about Imam Hussain (AS). he holds about the best lesson learned from Imam Hussain (AS) as a martyr hero is eternal principles of justice, pity, and love which are irrevocable. so whenever someone resists these traits and shows persistence against them, however, those principles will always remain firmly in the world.

He says: “The lesson of Imam Hussain (AS) and every other martyr hero is that in the world there are eternal principles of justice, pity, and love which are irrevocable. It also means that whenever someone resists these traits and mankind shows persistence toward them, however, those principles will always remain firm in the world.”
