Ahkam (Islamic Rules) for Teenagers and Young Adults  (Lesson “6”)

Ahkam:

Ablution (Wuzdu):

Human should perform ablution respectively as following:

1) Intention

2) To wash the face

3) To wash the right hand

4) To wash the left hand

5) To wipe the scalp with the remaining moisture

6) To wipe the right foot with the moisture left by the right hand

7) To wipe the left foot with the left hand.

We wash the face from the place where the hair grows to the chin and the hands from the elbow to the fingertips, from top to bottom.

Wiping place (Mas'h):

It is enough to wipe the part on the head that is above the forehead, but it is better to wipe the width of three closed fingers and the length of one finger. In anointing, one should pull the hand on the foot. If we hold our hands and pull our head and feet to it, it will be nullified. The ablution place must be dry and if it is completely wet, the ablution is invalid.

* There should not be any barrier between hands and head or feet, such as vails, hats, shoes, etc

* In ablution, the place of wiping and washing must be clean, and if it is not clean, you must perform (Tayamum), ablution with clean dust.
