It is going to shed light briefly on some of the miraculous aspects of the holy Quran based on the verses of the Holy Qur'an as well as the historical facts.
To prove that the Holy Qur'an is the eternal miracle of the Prophet (P) we can refer to the holy Qur'an, itself, as it challenges all the mankind to bring a book similar to the Qur'an [1] whereas throughout the history of Islam no one succeed to do such.
In fact, historically talking there is no successful accounts, according to which the enemies of Islam and Qur'an could defeat the claim of the Qur'an. Hence, the Qur'an is a divine miracle otherwise the enemies of the holy Qur'an would succeed to bring a book similar to the Qur'an. Since it has not happened in the history, that a man could bring the same book, it proves that the Qur'an is a miracle; because, it is beyond the power and capability of mankind to bring such a book.
It is really important to mention that the Prophet Muhammad (P) challenged all the mankind while the great empires in Greece and Persia as well as other parts of the world were opposed to Islam. Thus, throughout the history there were many professionals and experts in different fields of knowledge, including poetry and literature, who could try their best against the Qur'an answering the challenge of the Prophet (P).
From the other side the enemies of Islam in the early days of Islam waged many costly and expensive wars against the Prophet (P) whereas bringing a similar book to the Qur'an had not such cost and expense. That is why; it is not true to say that no one had the motive to answer the challenge; rather, many things could motivate the Muslims and non-Muslims to do so, but they couldn’t due to the fact the Holy Qur'an is an eternal miracle.
It must be noted that not only in the past or the present time, but also in the future no one could bring a book like the holy Qur'an. Because, the Qur'an's miracle is not reduced to its eloquence and fluency that the professional literalists could compose such eloquent verses rather the Qur'an expresses many important points concerning secrets of creation, some of the future events and the unknown realities of the past which all are the miraculous aspects of the Holy Qur'an
