VOA farsi (Voice of America) introcuces the Muslims of Rohingya as rebels who fight against Myanmar government, while the reality is completely vice versa. They did not revolt against the government rather they are systematically forced to leave their lands.
While the UN and many humanitarian organizations reported the poor conditions of the Rohingya people who are forced by Myanmar military forces to leave their homeland, the Persian department of VOA (voice of America) has reported as if there is war between Myanmar army and Rohingya militants introducing Rohingya Muslims, as a very small minority in Myanmar, and rebels. According to the UN, Muslims of Rakhine state received and suffered many torture, rape and other kind of torments from Myanmar army while they did not have any means to defend except fleeing their homes for Bangladesh.[1]
