Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh, the daughter of Imam Musa Kazem (A.S) nicknamed Karima Ahl al-Bayt, is a scholarly and devout lady and a descendant of prophethood and a branch of the Imamate tree.

They were born in the first month of Dhul-Qa'dah 173 AH in Medina.

In the year of his birth, his honorable father Hazrat Imam Musa Kazem (A.S) was taken to prison by order of Harun Abbasi and then he was martyred in 183 AH. Therefore, she was brought up by his brother, Imam Reza (A.S).

In 201 A.H., one year after Mamun called Hazrat Imam Reza (A.S) to Khorasan, Hazrat Masoumeh (A.S) decided to travel to meet his brother. The government agents of Bani Abbas attacked the caravan carrying Her Holiness in the city of Saveh and martyred his companions. And they poisoned her, who fell ill due to poisoning and severe grief in the city of Saveh and said: Take me to the city of Qom; Because I heard from my father that he said: The city of Qom is the center of our Shiites.

Therefore, on the 23rd of Rabi al-Awwal 201 AH, he entered the city of Qom and was welcomed by the enthusiastic and fascinated people of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon him, and after staying in this city for seventeen days, on the 10th day of Rabi al-Thani 201 AH, they bid farewell.

Imam Reza, peace be upon him, said:

"Whoever pilgrims Fatimah Masoumeh will be heaven for him."[1]
