Among the values that are considered in human societies, especially in Islam, are hijab and chastity. Both men and women are subject to this issue.

If we take a look at history, there was a hijab among the people before Islam and ancient Iran, and it was even more difficult than what is stated in Islamic law.

Some people mistakenly consider hijab and chastity to be exclusive to a person, but in fact, the issue of hijab and chastity is regarded as social behavior. Therefore, it has a comprehensive reflection on society and Islam looks at it realistically.

Some consider chastity on the inside and the heart of people to be sufficient and do not consider it necessary to cover the outside, but by referring to religious menus, we can understand that internal and external chastity are necessary and complementary.

God says in the Qur'an to the Prophet (PBUH):
O Prophet! Tell your wives and daughters and the women of the believers: They should wear long headscarves, this (deed) is more suitable, so that they will be known (for their chastity) and not be abused, and God is Forgiving, Merciful.[1]

Also, in Surah Noor, Allah mentions another part of covering and hijab for Muslim women and says:

And they should not reveal their ornaments except what is (naturally) visible and throw their headscarves over their necks (so that in addition to their heads, their necks and chests are also covered).[2]

In Islamic narrations, like other social issues, there have been statements from the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) regarding the importance of hijab and chastity, an example of which is mentioned here:

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: The best of you is a woman who wears make-up because of her husband and shows off just for her husband, but covers herself from the others.[3]
