This article is going to introduce hajj briefly and deal with its importance concerning some opposite arguments against hajj rituals. It is concluded that hajj is an obligatory duty that under no conditions one can prevent Muslims from performing it.  

This article is a brief response to the opponents of hajj who suggest that the people must be prevent from doing hajj and their money should be spent in other welfares like financial assistance for the needy.

According to the Holy Quran, mecca is a Holy and secure place where no one should feel unsafe, the Saudi rulers did not exercise their responsibility to save the pilgrims’ lives. The Holy Quran says: And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits - whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day."

Survivors of a deadly crush during the Hajj rituals have shared their accounts of the incident in which hundreds of people were killed near Saudi Arabia's holy city of Mecca.

A British woman who took part in this year's Hajj rituals in Saudi Arabia says the Saudi authorities running the pilgrimage were Muslims in name only.

I do not want to make prejudgments about the causes of this incident, but certain individuals from the entire world of Islam - including our country - should go there and carry out investigations up close. They should clarify the causes of this incident. There is no discussion about this.

One of the deadliest accidents occurred recently during the hajj pilgrimage leaving thousands of people dead and many more injured. According to the Head of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Saeed Ohadi the disaster has killed around 2,000 pilgrims. Just two weeks ago, a crane collapse killed more than 100 pilgrims, and hotel fires have injured others.
