Since none of the Imams (A) practiced Tatbir and self-flagellation, we must not do it; because this religious conduct of the Imams (A) must be followed by all the Shiites who take part in the mourning ceremonies of Imam Husain (A).

Shia youth must be aware that some ways of mourning and showing sorrow over the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (A) are not lawful and will be misused by western media to introduce Shia as a violent branch of Islam spreading Islamophobia and Shiaphobia.

We weep and mourn for Imam Hussein because the Prophet (S) mourned for his grandson's martyrdom. Based on some true hadith, the Prophet (S) was informed by the Gabrial of the tragedy of Karbala. 

Holding mourning ceremony and expressing our hatred towards killers of son of The Prophet (s) are considered as the most obvious example for expressing our love to house hold of the Prophet (s).

There are lots of quotations of Sunni scholars about the authenticity of grieving for the deceased, exactly against Ibn Taymiyyah's opinion.

Weeping and mourning for the dead is basically considered Mubah in Islam. Thus why Wahhabis strictly forbid mourning for the dead?
