Hijab in the Quran

This article is going to briefly deal with the philosophy of hijab referring some verses of the holy Quran.

Two young ladies arrived for a meeting wearing clothes that were quite revealing their body parts.

Here is what the Chairman told them: He took a good look at them and made them sit.

Then he said something that, they might never forget in their life. He looked at them straight in the eyes and said; "ladies, everything that God made valuable in this world is well covered and hard to see, find or get.

It is obligatory to cover the body and it has nothing to with drawing attention or being solely a cultural background, especially a matter of choice.

Islam has introduced hijab as part of the decency and modesty in interaction between members of the opposite sex. Verse 59 of chapter 33 of the holy Quran gives a very good reason; it says,

“This is more appropriate so that they may be known [as Muslim women] and thus not be harassed [or molested].”
