The Translation of Fatima Zahra's (pbuh) sermon to the women of Medina -2

16:34 - 2023/12/07

- It is narrated in the book of Ehtejaj (protest) from Sowaid bin Ghafala: When Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) became sick. when her illness became severe, a group of women from Mohajer (emigrants) and Ansar (inhabitants) gathered to visit her. They greeted her and said:  “O Daughter of God's Messenger! How is your illness and what are you doing about it?

...I swear to God, if they did not accept the clear evidence of the truth, he would have guided them to the right path and prevented them from deviating and distorting.

Ali would have brought the camel (of Caliphate) safely to its destination. So that the movement of this camel was not painful. Ali would have led them to a smooth, full and wide watering hole, where the water flowed around and never turned cloudy. He would have brought them full from this watering hole.

Ali likes good for them in secret and in public. If he sat on the throne, he would never have appropriated a lot of interest from the treasury, and he would not have taken from the abundance and wealth of the world except for the necessary amount. The amount of water to quench thirst and food to satisfy hunger. (At that time) a pious man was known to be free from the thirst of worldly waste, and a truthful person was distinguished from a liar. In this case, the doors of heavenly and earthly blessings would be opened for them.

God will soon punish them for their deeds. Because he said:

“If the people of the towns had been faithful and Godwary, We would have opened to them blessings from the heaven and the earth. But they denied; so We seized them because of what they used to earn”.[1] “ But the evils that they earned smote them; and such of these as do wrong, the evils that they earn will smite them; they cannot escape”.[2] ...[3], [4]
