Concentration on hereafter doesn't contrast with paying attention to worldly affairs.
Question:
What is principle in a theocracy? Does the hereafter have the originality? And thus do the people's worldly affairs become forgotten?
Answer:
Whoever knows slightly about Islam, would realize that there is no contrast between concentration on hereafter and paying attention to worldly affairs. Let's take a look at these examples:
1- Allah the almighty says in the holy Quran: "We have already sent our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice." [1]
2- Imam Baqir (A): "whoever takes a step forward to meet a believer's need, For each step Allah (J) orders to write for him a good deed and to remove a bad deed. And also orders seventy five thousand angels to cast shadow over him (to look after him on judgment day)." [2]
3- Feeding of Ahl al-Bayt (A) to poor people.
4- One of the important duties in Islam is financial payments that are used to meet basic needs of people.
