BIG BANG theory

20:35 - 2017/02/04

The holy Quran has some verses about creation of the world which may match what scientists have found today.

explosion

Question:
Does the Quran believe in Big Bang theory?

Answer:
It seems that these two verses are related to the subject:

“Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and we separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (al-anbya/30)

“And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.” (adh-Dhariyat/47)

According to the issue of heavens’ creation in previous sentence and given the recent discoveries of scientists in the “world expansion” which have confirmed through sensory observations, an accurate meaning of the verse can be found and that is God has created the heavens and expand them constantly.

Interesting is that the word “موسعون” (expanders) and using a nominal sentence imply the persistence of this issue and show that this expansion has always existed and continues, And this is exactly what scientists have found today that all the heavenly spheres and galaxies were initially collected in a single center, Then a huge and infinitely terrible explosion occurred, and subsequently parts of the world collapsed, and turned to heavenly spheres, and they quickly are retreating and expanding.
