According to the Islamic teachings, it's not true that all non-Muslims are hellion, rather, some of them carry out their duties in accordance with their comprehension of the truth.
How can Muslims love non-Muslims when they are so certain that non-Muslims are spiritually wrong?
At first we should divide non-Muslims into two groups: 1- the People of the Scripture 2- infidels. We believe that they both are wrong in their belief, but let's take a look at what Allah has stated in his holy book about some of the People of the Scripture:1- “If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.” (Ali ‘Imran/110). This verse clearly states that some of them are faithful. 2- “They are not [all] the same; among the People of the Scripture is a community standing [in obedience], reciting the verses of Allah during periods of the night and prostrating [in prayer].” (Ali ‘Imran/113). So we should not consider all of them as the same.
