Very important and fateful day in the history of Islam

The twenty-fourth day of Dhul-Hajjah is a very important and fateful day in the history of Islam. It is the day when one of the divine verses was revealed to the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, due to a small but very important incident.

As a result of the revelation of this verse, the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) spilled the beans about a very important issue and informed the people about the process of Khatam donating of Ali (AS).

The verse that was revealed was the verse of Wilayat, and the important news was the declaration of Wilayat and the succession of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, which the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, announced and revealed this fact from the Lord.

Ring donating

“Your guardian is only Allah, His Apostle, and the faithful who maintain the prayer and give the zakat while bowing down.”[1]

It has been narrated that: One day, a beggar came to the Prophet's mosque and asked people for help, but no one helped him. He, who was disappointed with the help of the people, turned towards the sky and said: God! I came to your Prophet's mosque and asked people for help, but no one helped me. Amir Mu'minan, peace be upon him, pointed to him with his hand. He also went to Ali (peace be upon him) and took the ring out of his hand and left the mosque. It was here that the verse of guardianship was revealed to the Prophet by Gabriel.

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to the mosque with a group of his companions to find the true example of the holy verse. They saw a beggar coming out of the mosque door.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said to him: Did anyone give you anything? The beggar said: Yes. He asked: What did he give? The poor man said: This ring. He said: Who gave this to you? The beggar said: The one who is praying. And he pointed to the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him. He said: In what state was he in? The beggar said: Bowing (Ruku')

The Prophet, May God bless him and grant him peace, saw that the signs of the verse were well adapted to Ali ibn Abi Talib, (AS), and immediately said Takbeer, and the people of the mosque said Takbeer following the Prophet's Takbeer.
