When patience ends, comes relief

19:13 - 2016/05/08

According to ahadith the twelfth Imam (AS) will reapear when the Earth is full of oppression and people of the world long for a savior.

the twelfth Imam (AS)

A woman came to Imam Sadiq (AS) and said: O, son of the Prophet of God, my son went on a journey and his absence has continued for too long and I long to see him again, please pray to God for me. The Imam said: Be patient. She went and endured the absence of her son for a few days but again came to the Imam and complained about her longing to see her son. The Imam again told her to have patience. She went and after a few days came back and complained about the long absence of her son. The Imam said: Didn't I tell you to be patient? She replied: O, son of the Prophet of God, for how long should I be patient? By God my patience has ended. The Imam said: God back to your house. You will see that your son has come back from his journey. She went home and saw her son had come back from his travel as the Imam had said. She came to the Imam and asked: Was there a revelation from God unto you after the (demise of the) Prophet of God? The Imam said: No, but the Prophet (PBUH) said: when patience ends, comes relief. When you said your patience had ended I understood that God had relieved you by bringing your son back.[1]

Now the question is: Have we reached that state of impatience and long to see the twelfth Imam as much as that woman was impatient and longed to see her son?
