Sin

،قال الکاظم علیه السلام: کُلّما أَحدَثَ النّاسُ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ ما لَم يَکُونُوا يَعلَمُونَ، أَحدَثَ اللهُ لَهُم مِن البَلاءِ ما لَم يَکُونُوا يَعُدّوُنَ، بحار الانوار، ج 78، ص:322

The more people commit various sins which were not in practice before (i.e., novel sins) the more Allah creates calamities and catastrophes which they did not know before.
