charity

-We should give charity but by following Islamic teachings.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

لَن تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّو

 قال علی علیه السلام:اَلْمُحْسِنُ‏ مَنْ‏ عَمَّ النَّاسَ بِالْإِحْسَان، غرر الحکم، ص:388

Faithful help
Help fellow human beings

قال علی علیه السلام: الصَّدَقَةُ تَسْتَدْفِعُ‏ الْبَلَاءَ وَ النَّقِمَةَ ، غررالحکم، حدیث

لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ، آل عمران:92

یا أَیُّهَا الَّذینَ آمَنُوا أَنْفِقُوا مِمّا رَزَقْناکُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ یَأْتِیَ یَوْمٌ لا بَ

Every kindly act is considered charity. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

قَال علی عليه السلام: الصَّدَقَةُ دَوَاءٌ مُنْجِحٌ، وَأَعْمَالُ الْعِبَادِ فِي عَاجِلِهِم

Charity not only does not reduce the wealth, it also increases. So there is no reason not to give charity financially and religiously.

It is a glance at the some of the verses of the holy Quran and sayings of the Prophet (P) concerning charity, on the ocasion of the International Day of Charity.
