Ahkam (Islamic Rules) for Teenagers and Young Adults  (Lesson “5”)

Ahkam:

Purifiers or cleaners:

Purifiers clean impure objects and the most important of them are:

1) Water

2) Earth

3) The sun

4) Islam

5) Getting rid of the impurity

Land:

If the land is clean and dry and made of soil, sand, bricks, etc., by walking on it the soles of the feet or shoes will be cleaned, so it is better to take at least 15 steps.

Sun:

It can clean 1- land 2- building 3- trees and plants, only if:

1) Something that is impure should be wet.

2) The impure thing should be dried by the sun.

3) Something like a cloud or a curtain should not block the sunlight.

4) Let the sun dry it, for example, don't dry it with the help of the wind.

5) When the sun shines, there should be no impurity in it (if there is impurity, remove it before the sun shines on it).

* If the ground and the like is impure, but does not have moisture, you can pour some water on it, then let the sun shine on it and clean it. In the case of the plant, the condition is not stated.

Islam:

An unbeliever is impure, and if he says two testimonies, he is purified, that is, "Ashhado an la elaha ila Allah" and "Ashhado anna Mohammad an Rasul Allah" (I testify that God is one and I testify that Muhammad is the messenger of God). By converting to Islam, his entire being is purified.

Removal of the same impurity:

In two cases, when the impure object is removed, it is cleaned and does not need to be washed by water:

A- The body of an animal, for example, the beak of a chicken that has eaten something impure, becomes clean when the impurity is removed from its beak.

B- Inside the body such as inside the mouth, nose and ears.
