Know the truth and you shall know its people!

19:25 - 2017/06/18

Introducing the truth is more helpful than introducing the people of truth, as Imam Ali (A) did the same guiding one of his companions.

Know the truth and you shall know its people!

Look how Imam Ali (A) guided the one who was confused about the war of Jamal. When he asked Imam Ali (A) how is it possible for Talha, Zubair and Ayesha to be in a wrong way while they were from among the best companions of the prophet (s), and Ayesha was the Prophet's wife? It was easy for Imam Ali (A) to introduce himself as the one who was appointed by the prophet (S), in the Day of Ghadir, as the successor of him, the one who had slept at the prophet's bed in "Laylat al-Mabīt", the one about whom the prophet told that "there is no man but Ali, there is no sword but Dhulfiqar" and etc. However, Ali (A) told the man: "Know the Truth and you shall know its people, know the falsehood and you shall know its people". In fact, Imam Ali (A) recommended the man to ignore the people of truth telling him to find what truth is! [ Shaikh Mufid al-Amali, p.5.]
