The religious democracy model of the Islamic Republic of Iran is an efficient model in the world community.

Religious democracy

Religious democracy:

Religious democracy is a form of governance in Islamic countries where religious citizens have an active participation in political life within the framework of Sharia teachings, avoiding any individual tyranny in public decision-making. The divinity of the essence of sovereignty and the realization of this sovereignty by the people have been considered the two main elements of this type of government. In Islamic philosophy, sovereignty belongs to God, who bestows it on his special servants, such as the prophets and their guardians. But when there was no access to one of them, the person closest to them deserves the right that people should help him to take this position.

After the Iranian Islamic Revolution, religious democracy was introduced as one of the main signs of political Islamism and as an example of the challenge of modernism and tradition.

A look at democracy in the West:

Some believe that America is like a "shining city on top of a hill" and the statesmen of this country should build and strengthen America in such a way that the eyes of other governments are drawn to this city and the "guiding beacon of democracy". But the reality has turned out in a different way, as the website of the American magazine "Hill" wrote in a report referring to the results of a survey by the Pew Research Institute about the escalation of internal disputes in the United States: "The beacon of American democracy is going out". Because Western leaders no longer look at America as a model in the field of democracy.

This issue has also shown itself in the participation rate of the American people in the elections of this country. Statistics show that before 2018, most American participation in parliamentary elections was equal to or lower than 40%.[1]
