slavery in Islam

1. Islam forbade all the different ways of slavery except for arresting the enemies in the battle fields. It restored dignity to the slaves providing them with food, housing, clothing etc. and emancipated them through different means.

It is a brief outline of the Islamic campaign against slavery in accordance with some of the Islamic principles and rules.  

Islam's war against slavery aimed at changing the attitude and mentality of the whole society, so that after emancipation, slaves would become its full-fledged members, without any need of demonstrations, strikes, civil disobedience and racial riots.

It is going to elaborate the Islamic and quranic teachings briefly on slavery explaining that the terrorist and Takfifiri groups' behavior with the arrested people is not Islamic.
