A scientist named Professor Etenger talks about salt crystals that are related to one hundred million years ago. There were fossils of bacteria from that time, and he cultivated them in a suitable environment. They came alive and multiplied. After this incident, he collected these crystals from different parts of the world, including from the areas that are related to 600 million years ago. He cultivated the fossils of bacteria, and he was surprised to see that they also woke up from their slumber. The meaning of these explanations is; we have a type of sleep in which the need for food is extremely reduced and vital activities get close to zero. After all, this helps prevent wear and tear on the body parts and prolong the life of such creatures. Basically, hibernation is a very good opportunity for these animals, who probably cannot prepare their food in winter.
Burial of Ascetics:

If the issue of needing food during this period is not important, the issue of needing air oxygen is very important. Because we know that the sensitivity of brain cells especially to oxygen and their need for this vital substance is so great that if they are deprived of it for a few minutes, they will die. Now, how is it that the ascetic tolerates the lack of oxygen? For example, for a period of about a week? The answer to this question is not very difficult according to the explanation we gave. During this period, the vital activity of the ascetic's body is almost stopped. Therefore, the cells' need for oxygen and its consumption is extremely reduced.
