The Importance of Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (A.S)

Pilgrimage to Sayyid al-Shahda (peace be upon him) is so important that the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him) did not forbid anyone from going to Karbala, even in times of fear and danger, and recommended that we visit that Prophet every day from a distance or near. So in this article, we see the importance of the pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (A.S) as follows

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said to one of his companions named Sadir:

"Do you visit Hussein's tomb every day?"

He said: No!

He said: "How cruel you are!"

Sadir said: I will sacrifice you! There are miles between us and him.

Imam said: "Go to the roof of your house." Then pay attention to the right and left side and then raise your head towards the sky and turn towards the grave of Hussain peace be upon him and say: Peace be upon you, O Abu Abd Allah, peace be upon you, and God's mercy and blessings

By doing this, a pilgrimage will be written for you and this pilgrimage is equivalent to a Hajj and Umrah...[1]

 

Perhaps it can be said that the most important pilgrimage day of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) is the day of Arbaeen. In the words of Imam Askari, peace be upon him, Arbaeen pilgrimage is considered one of the signs of Shia.[2]  

conclusion

 Therefore, this pilgrimage should not be neglected near or far. Since we have a number of traditions from HolyImams (A.S) advising us to perform it because of the rewards it has towards us the followers of the successors of the prophet of Islam.
