philosophy of religious upbringing in childhood

upbringing in childhood: It is clear that in the educational centers of all societies, they start education from childhood in order to establish goals and models that they think are positive in the minds of people from the beginning of childhood. And in no society do they wait for a child to reach maturity as an example to teach him that stealing and murdering is a reprehensible act! Therefore, indoctrination in itself is not a bad thing.

And in this regard. the recommendation of Islam for religion and religiousness during childhood is because humans are created to seek God by nature.[1]

Since the child's mind is still healthy and has not deviated from the path of nature, it is more ready to accept the right; For this reason. efforts are made to make his innate learnings fertile during childhood.[2]

And we know that one of the best religious teachings is that a person should gradually and by using his innate reason become sure of his religious principles and not be satisfied with the teachings of his childhood.

Therefore, even though indoctrination during childhood makes it difficult for him to deviate when he is young and reaches the age of growth and reason; this does not mean predestination, because a person has the ability to change in any living situation.

and It is not the case that every person in his adulthood is forced to follow every thought that he learned in childhood.

The proof of this claim is the existence of great thinkers who in the history of science put forward theories that were contrary to the theories of the professors and their educational environment.
