The concept of resistance in the Quran

concept of resistance: Although the word "resistance" is Arabic, it does not appear in the Qur'an with this structure. According to the Qur'an, resistance is not just a word or a term, but a culture.

The culture of resistance is explained in the Qur'an around various topics and concrete and living experiences with the words of endurance, and patience. The word perseverance is used 47 times in the Qur'an, most of the Qur'anic topics of perseverance are about monotheism and moving towards God.

The position of endurance in the Quran is durability, stability, and doing the in a true way.

So be steadfast, just as you have been commanded—[you] and whoever has turned [to Allah] with you—and do not overstep the bounds. Indeed, He watches what you do.[1]

In two verses of the Qur'an, resistance is mentioned with the word patience.

Seek help with patience and prayer[2]

In the Quran, the word steadfast also means resistance. This term has been proposed as a concept of strength and stability against the enemy and as a firm principle among believers in God throughout the ages.

O you who have faith! When you meet a host [in battle], then stand firm, and remember Allah greatly so that you may be felicitous.[3]
