Celebrities and the scales of history

     For some time now, the discussion about celebrities has become a regular part of media chatter and each group judges their influence and usefulness or not according to their taste, criticizes and finally issues a verdict. The rulings are usually issued without regard to certain characteristics and only according to the level of people's interest in these characters, and sometimes elevate them to the level of legendary characters.

Sometimes remove them from the circle of credibility. Regardless of the type of view, the truth is that all political, social, military, cultural, scientific, sports figures, etc. are somehow effective in political and social developments and the movement of a country's history.

The effect of the activity of these characters is different in at least three components:

1.    The first dimension of influence; Whether the field of effect of personality is one-dimensional or multi-dimensional;

      2. The second dimension of the level of influence is sometimes influencing at the local level, sometimes at the national level, and sometimes at the global level

    3. The third dimension of influence time is, influence can be short-term, medium-term or long-term.

Based on the mentioned three indicators, it is possible to measure the influence of celebrities to a large extent and compare it with other influential personalities. And having a longer-term effect is equally more important.

      For example, when the martyr Sardar Qassem Soleimani is mentioned as a great figure in contemporary history, we see that the sphere of influence of this martyr includes various political, military, cultural, social and even economic dimensions, and these influences are at three levels:

local, national and international is seen both in the short term, medium term and for many years.

        On this basis, other personalities and celebrities, some of whom, by the way, have suffered from acute self-heroism and consider themselves as the great personalities of Iran's history can be evaluated.

    To put it simply, the extent of their influence in what dimensions, level and time will be shown by their weight. The weight will be finally measured on the scale of history and will record their place in the developments of Iran.[1]
