All-round Awareness of the Innocents Imams on existence in the biography of Imam Baqir (a.s) - 1

18:05 - 2024/06/12

The guiding Imams (peace be upon them) like the beloved Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) had “The Given Knowledge” and  they were aware of all aspects of the world. This claim can also be seen in the biography of Imam Baqir (A.S).

Twelve Infallible Imams (peace be upon them)

The Given Knowledge of the Imams (A.S)

According to the Qur'an and numerous hadiths, all the words of Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) are also the same as the seal of the Prophets (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) without error and based on all-round awareness of existence. The report about the last ablution of Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) is one of the evidences for this claim.

According to the beliefs of the Shia school, God will always place an infallible representative between himself and the people until the Day of Judgment to show them the right and true path to attain worldly and hereafter happiness. The Last of the Prophets (peace and blessings of God be upon him) as the last messenger of God, imparted the last religion and the last divine commands to the people.

In the Holy Qur'an, it is emphasized that everything the Holy Prophet (S.A) said during his blessed life, was taken from divine revelation and he never spoke in error.[1] However, when the Holy Prophet asked for paper and pen to write his advice when he was sick in the bed, some apparently worldly Muslims accused him of delusion, contrary to the Qur'an.[2]

Anyway, due to the fact that it was necessary to continue the path of guidance of the servants of God after the Holy Prophet of Islam (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), God introduced twelve Imams to the people. [3]

[2] Sahih Al-Bukhari, vol. 1, pp. 97-98
