It is a common concern that How to rise to the problem of violence and terror in the world. In this article we are going to deal with the problem referring to some of the solutions put forth by the supreme leader.

How to rise to the terrorism as a real challenge to our peaceful life?

Recently, the supreme leader if Iran, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in his second letter to the European youth has put forward some new effective solutions to the problem of terror and violence in the world. Addressing the young generation of the western societies, Ayatollah Khamenei wrote: "if the painful matters do not create the grounds for finding solutions and mutual consultation, then the damage caused will be multiplied." [1] It shows that not only the increasing terror and violence, in the world, is our common worry, but also, due to the fact that Muslims have suffered severely from the terror, for many past decades, it is the first and the biggest challenge to Muslims' peaceful life.

Ayatollah Khamenei is of the view that the young generation of the west must take lessons from such deadly incidents, and they must study deeply about the real causes behind terrorism in order to find practical solutions to this problem. "it is only you youth who by learning the lessons of today’s hardship have the power to discover new means for building the future." The leader wrote. [2]

According to the supreme leader "if today’s pain is not used to build a better and safer future, then it will just turn into bitter and fruitless memories." [3] It means that the European youth should try their best to solve their problems and make a safer future. But the important question is that is it possible, for European countries, to solve their own problem without concerning other's problems as well? Writing the second letter, the supreme leader tries to tell the European youths that terrorism is a common concern for humanity, that is why; all the nations, throughout the world, should cooperate in this regard. Therefore,    the European youths should not think that without other nations' helps they could solve this global problem.

Ayatollah Khamenei mentions that some of the western powers created and supported the terrorist groups, in the past, to meet their interests in other parts of the world. He wrote: "today, there are very few people who are uninformed about the role of the United States of America in creating, nurturing and arming al-Qaeda, the Taliban and their inauspicious successors.  Besides this direct support, the overt and well-known supporters of takfiri terrorism- despite having the most backward political systems- are standing arrayed as allies of the west while the most pioneering, brightest and most dynamic democrats in the region are suppressed mercilessly." [4]

In the aforementioned part of his letter the supreme leader of Iran informs the western youths of the fact that this challenge they are now suffering from, has been created by their own governments and states.  But finally this prejudiced policy towards the world's stability and security damaged the Europeans as well. Now the best solution to this problem is that western young generations must become aware of the realities behind terrorism, so that they could find workable long-term solutions to this international challenge. The first step that must be taken by the western youths is to reform and correct the wrong policies of their states towards other countries.

In conclusion, it should be mentioned that the best way to rise the global challenges is to deal with the problem globally and take others' problems also in to consideration. Hence, no one should think that through creating and causing problems for the others, a country can bring stability, peace and security to its territory. Based on the mentioned facts, European youths must first of all change the prejudiced policies of their own states towards other nations and countries then they must adopt the new just and practical policies towards them.
