There are many examples in the history of Islam and Ahlul Bayt's lifestyle, which recommend easy and simple marriage for the Muslim youths trusting Allah (J) as the provider.
Does Islam suggest the leniency in the marriage? If so, why in our Islamic society, most of the boys and girls and their families are also too strict?

What is going on in the society is not due to the religion's problem. The Islamic teachings such as the verses of the Holy Qur'an and hadiths have recommended easy and simple marriage for young Muslims with leniency in its process. Now we have to see whether the people follow the verses of the Holy Qur'an, Prophet's (PBUH) lifestyle, and reliable historical accounts of this issue, or not, rather, they follow other ways! The thing that Islam advises about the marriage is the leniency and suitable dowry (according to the girl's status and boy's affordability).
