In this article, we are going to review two important lessons from the lifestyle of Imam Hasan (as) regarding Salat.

As it is known in Abrahamic religions, Satan is the sworn enemy of human beings and puts in all his efforts to mislead them from the path of God. In this article, we are going to review the tactics of Satan for ruining man's worships.

It does not make any difference, whether you are a sincere christen or a devoted Muslim. People of faith always complain about an inner spiritual apathy or spiritual dryness. The heart becomes like a wild untamable horse. In this situation, what can we do about it?

In today's fast-paced world, our soul and mind are prone to toxic fears and anxieties that not only may take over our mind but may affect our healthy life style. Fears always have the potential to sneak into our daily life and gradually become our ever-lasting nightmares. In this article, I am going to introduce an amazing weapon that one can use against fears and anxieties.

Imam Ali (as) saw a man who was reciting a long supplication from a written text. The Imam (as) taught him a short but comprehensive supplication that covers all man wants.

Why should we be punished on the Day of Judgment for not praying, when we know that God does not need our prayers?

God absolutely does not need anything. He has no faults and no weaknesses. On the contrary, it is rather the creatures who need Him. On the other hand, God is benevolent and merciful. He loves all his creatures. He created the world, blessings, and all that is good for them. We know that God is wise and His actions are based on wisdom. So if He orders us to perform the prayer or other acts and to abstain from certain acts, it is based on His wisdom. The benefit or the harm that follow the accomplishment of the requested act or abandonment of the prohibited act will be for man himself. The benefits of prayer are innumerable, but we can cite among them attaining perfection, removal of all filth, and rapprochement towards God.

Being a matchless warior in the battlefield, during the night Imam Ali (as) wept at night and trembled with fear of Allah.

One should always pray to God and request the Creator to not leave him alone. If left on his own even for a moment, man may deviate from the right path and be doomed forever. Even Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hf), who was the best of creation, used to pray in the middle of the night and beseech God for His constant attention.

Imam Hussain's prayer on the Day of Ashura is a clear lesson for us all that we should, at all times, give priority to prayer over all other things. We all wish we were with the Imam (as) and his companions and we request God to resurrect us with them. In order for our wish to come true in shaallah, we must give utmost importance to prayers.
