There is no problem in buying, selling and using liquids containing alcohol if  you do not know whether it originally belongs to the category of a liquid intoxicant.

Question: Is it permissible to consume alcohol for medical purposes?

Answer: An alcohol which you do not know whether it originally belongs to the category of a liquid intoxicant is considered pure, and there is no problem in buying, selling and using liquids containing it.[1] It is permissible to use them to the extent required for treatment.[2]
