What are the Personality and Spiritual Status of Fatima Zahra (A.S)?

Many books have been written and many words have been spoken about the personality and spiritual status of Fatima Zahra (A.S), but thousands of times more of it comes from the realm of the human mind and thought and takes the form of speech or writing, it will be a drop from the boundless ocean of virtues. In the sky of knowledge of  Zahra, the highest human thoughts, and the most amazing and sharpest intellects are wandering. In order to reach the shore of the sea of knowledge of that great lady, one should go to the Holy Qur'an and the hadiths of the infallible (PBUH).

In this article, with attention to the Holy Qur'an and traditions, we mention only a drop of that boundless sea.

A) The verses revealed in honour of Hazrat Zahra (S)

The royal personality of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) is not only the self-explainer and interpreter of the verses of the Qur'an, and not only is her existence a living document as a practical support to confirm the concepts of that divine book, but her actions sometimes caused the revelation of the verses of the Qur'an. Of course, these honourable verses have been narrated in the form of interpretation,[1] interpretation,[2] taweel[3]  and adaptation[4] in the honor of  Zahra ....[5]

I have to say; Islamic scholars and commentators generally agree that some verses of the Holy Qur'an were revealed in the honor of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.), their reference to Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) and their status and position is for interpretation, not adaptation; And Sadiqa Zahra is also one of those five pure lights.

In this context, we mention some of these noble verses.

Verses about Tafsir:

1. Mubahlah verse: It is stated in the Holy Qur'an:

"Whenever after the knowledge that has reached you (about Christ), (again) those who argue with you, say to them: Come, we invite our children." Let's do it, you invite your children, we invite your wives, you invite your wives, we invite our souls, you also invite your souls, then we'll do it and put God's curse on the liars.[6] And Hazrat Fatima was the only example of "women" accompanying the Holy Prophet for Mubahlah.[7]

2. Verse of purification: the blessed verse "... God only wants to remove filth and sin from you Ahl al-Bayt and purify you completely",[8]in honour of Imam Ali (a.s.), Hazrat Fatima Zahra......[9]

3. Surah "Hal Ati" (Al-Insan) was revealed in honour of Imam Ali (a.s.) and Fatima Zahra (s.a.).[10]

The verses that are related to Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S) are considered as "taweel" cases:

(i). In a hadith from Imam Sadiq (A.S) it is said that when the noble verse was revealed[11] God said:

I am God. I sent two seas, Ali bin Abi Talib (A.S), the sea of knowledge and Fatima (A), the sea of prophecy, and I, my God, established the connection between them.[12]

(ii). Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) in the interpretation of the verse "which is one of the greatest verses of God. He warns mankind",[13] he says: "He means Hazrat Fatimah (A)".[14]

What are the Personality and Spiritual Status of Fatima Zahra (A.S)?

(iii). Referring to traditions, the holy existence of Fatima is the truth and interior of Lailat al-Qadr (Night of Destiny), and the knowledge of that Prophet is equal to the understanding of Shab al-Qadr.[15] Like this narration: A Christian man was honoured to serve Imam Musa Kazim (a.s.) and asked for the inner interpretation of these verses: "Hmm, by this enlightening book, which We sent down on a blessed night, We have always been a warner." ! In that night, every matter is planned and separated based on (divine) wisdom";[16] The Imam replied: "Ham" is Muhammad and "the book of revelation" is Ali  and "Lailalah" is Fatima.[17]
