- The Qur'an has raised the status and personality of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), which is mentioned in this article:
Jesus Christ in the Quran
Prophethood, Spiritual and Moral Authorities of Jesus Christ - 2
The manner of his conversation with the Lord in Surah Ma'idah, verse 116, is indicative of his practical ethics. When God says to Jesus Christ (peace be upon him): “Did you tell the people to make me and my mother their Gods besides Allah?”[1] With great respect for this question, Jesus Christ first opened his tongue to glorify God from all kinds of partners and likes and says: “God! You are pure and free from all kinds of partners”[2]. Then he goes on to say: “It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right”.[3]
In fact, not only does he deny himself by saying this, but he says that basically I do not have such a right. Such a speech is never compatible with my status and position. Then he goes on and says: “Had I said it, You would certainly have known it: You know whatever is in my self, and I do not know what is in Your Self. Indeed, You are knower of all that is Unseen”.[4]
Conclusion:
By expressing the position and personality of Jesus Christ as the Messenger of God, the wise, the blessed, the one who speaks the truth, honorable, one of those who are close to God, the Spirit of God, righteous, and... he is introduced as one of the best servants of God in the Quran. In the following, by quoting from his conversation with God, He states that Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) never claimed to be God and introduces himself as God's servant. Not only does he not make such a claim, but he admits that he is not in such a position and does not have the capacity and right to make such a claim. Finally, Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) considers Allah as pure and free from any kind of partner.
